Volunteering at MIFSA

Would you like to become a MIFSA volunteer?

Volunteers of MIFSA are actively involed in:

The Board of Management
The Education Program, which provides education and information to the community. Public speaking training is also offered.
Providing an accredited food service, program activities, support, companionship and encouragement to consumers and carers - through the MIFSA Activity Centres.
Developing, producing and collating information kits about mental illness issues.
Assembling newsletters for posting
Volunteering at the 3 opportunity shops that aim to supplement Government funding and build greater financial independence.
Other fundraising opportunities including Badge Day collections and social functions.
Maintaining and expanding the library and other resource facilities.
Facilitating our regionally based support groups.
